Ethernet over Coaxial (EoC) is a network technology that uses your existing coaxial TV wiring in your facility to create a high-speed and reliable network backbone for the Internet and other networking connections. LSP’s EoC extender allows you to run the connection over existing coaxial cable with little to no modification required, making it a perfect solution for a broad range of applications, including overcoming infrastructure obstacles and distances (e.g. older stone/concrete architecture) where new wiring or wireless connectivity maybe impossible.

By simply adding a master unit next to the television headend and a user unit at each point to which the internet signal is to be brought, the hotel will be able to update the television installation to transmit internet and IP content at high speed. The user device also acts as a WiFi access point, so a wireless network can be created easily and with high quality and reliability.
